I am a Portland-native and a graduate of Lewis & Clark College with a double-major in English and Philosophy. I spent the first part of my career in academia, earning a Masters in Philosophy and teaching undergraduates at the University of Arizona.

My research interests and teaching were focused on understanding how ethics can improve business, medicine, economics, and the environment.

While an instructor at Arizona, I learned web development and design, using those skills to craft four independent and interactive online courses. At their peak, these classes enrolled over 1,200 students per semester.

My education skills are grounded in a solid foundation of analytical thinking and clear communication.

I am currently the Director of Operations for Pacific NW Properties, a locally-owned real estate development, acquisition, and management company that owns and manages multi-tenant industrial parks and office buildings in the Portland Metropolitan Area.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my wife, Nikki, my two sons Ethan and Aiden, and Fraser, our rescue dog.
